CBE Bursary Fund Application
In line with the mandate of promoting ongoing Human Resource
Development within the Built Environment (BE), the CBE is offering
bursaries for the 2013 Academic Year to financially needy learners,
currently completing Grade 12 who intend to pursue careers in the BE.
The CBE is offering bursaries to prospective students in the following
areas of study:
Landscape Architecture
Civil Engineering
Structural Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Architecture
Property Valuation Studies
Electrical Engineering
Construction and Project Management
Quantity Surveying
Who can apply?
Grade 12 learners who obtained more than 60% in Mathematics,
Physical Science and English during their Grade 12 June examinations.
Financially needy learners who are South African citizens. What
does the bursary provide for?
Tuition and registration fees.
Residence fees.
Textbooks and study material.
The following documents must
accompany your completed application form:
Certified copies of
your December Grade 11 and current Grade 12 June examination results.
Certified copies of identity documents of yourself and your
parents/guardians.
Certified copies of both your parents/guardians payslips and an
affidavit if a pensioner or is/are unemployed or an income statement if
self-employed.
A fully completed prescribed CBE Application Form signed by a
Commissioner of Oaths. The closing
date for applications is 30 September of each year. No late applications
will be considered.
Please note that should ALL the required and certified documents not be
attached and/or signed, your application will be disqualified.

Hand deliveries should be submitted at 121 New Muckleneuk, Cnr Middel
Street and Florence Ribeiro Avenue, Muckleneuk, Pretoria, 0027.
