PROFILE OF MR BHEKI ZULU
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
OFCOUNCIL FOR THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Bheki Zulu is the Chief Executive Officer of the Council for the Built Environment (CBE). Before joining the CBE, Bheki has worked in the mining, textile, municipal, food and beverages, water, as well as consulting sectors.

Throughout his career, he has spent most of his extra time on issues of human development. In this regard he has played various leadership roles in various public benefit organisations, such as Business Chambers, Children’s Foundations and Human Resources Development Organisations.

He has had management development opportunities in Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America. Mr Zulu also participated in the panel of experts that contributed to the World Competitiveness Report produced by the IMD in Switzerland.
